Barcelona

We spent less then 48hrs in Barcelona, and the afternoon we arrived, the sun was shining and it was really hot. Luckily, our hotel had a pool on the roof.In the evening, we went out for some tapas before our friend was heading to the airport to fly back home. As we were running out of time, we kinda stopped at one of the first places we saw. With a 1€ per tapa, it was hard not to order everything.. Although, they weren’t that great, so I’m glad I only ate these..

The next morning, we got up early and headed straight to the beach! We stopped for some coffee and croissants, very breakfast at tiffany’s style!
It turned out to be quite a walk, but the sun was rising and the whole city were waking up, and we passed some interesting art on our way.

Unfortunately, once at the beach, the clouds kept coming and soon it was a not so nice grey sky over us, so we decided to leave. We took the metro for a few stops and then walked on Las Ramblas to the big market where they have this tiny tapas bar, Pinotxo Bar. A lot of people, but soon we got some space at the bar and ordered. We had some great fish, squid, beans, bread and sausage (J had that one. and the squid).

Afterwards, we walked around the market for a bit, but when I saw whole rabbits with everything except fur, it was a bit too much for me and I was happy to leave. We went back to the hotel and hung out at the pool before going for dinner and drinks. We had tapas at two different places, walked all over Barcelona, saw a lot of craziness before we got home. I had a lot of Estrella beer, didn’t manage to get one picture.
The day after, I woke up at nine only to realize our flight was in 3 hours, and oh boy, we almost missed our flight home!
